Generally used for making cables and conductors.

5XXX series aluminium alloy rod
Used for metal wire mesh, industrial strainers, marine and
automotive rivets, cable armouring and braiding.

6XXX series aluminium alloy rod
Used for making AAAC conductors, helical fittings,
T&D hardware and accessories, as well as ADSS fittings.

8XXX series aluminium alloy rod
Used for making house wiring cables and copper cladding
on aluminium wires.
