Sep 2026: We are pleased to share that APAR has once again been awarded the prestigious CareEdge ESG-1 rating, reaffirming our leadership position in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance.
Our CareEdge ESG score has improved from 76.4 to 77.8, reflecting our continued ability to maintain strong ESG performance while further strengthening our sustainability practices, disclosures, policies, and performance.
The CareEdge ESG-1 rating recognizes APAR’s strong approach to managing ESG risks and opportunities across its operations and value chain. Our ongoing efforts span environmental stewardship, climate action, resource efficiency, employee well-being, responsible business practices, and robust governance.
This improved score, while retaining the highest CareEdge ESG rating category, reinforces our commitment to continuously raising the bar on sustainability and embedding ESG considerations into our business strategy and decision-making.

Mar 2026: APAR continues to strengthen its commitment to transparency and responsible business practices through sustainability disclosures on global platforms including EcoVadis.
EcoVadis is a globally recognized, evidence-based platform that provides sustainability ratings for companies and enables organizations to evaluate the ESG performance of their suppliers. The assessment covers a broad range of criteria including environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement, offering a comprehensive view of corporate responsibility and supply chain sustainability.
In the latest assessment, APAR has been awarded the EcoVadis Bronze Medal with an 83rd percentile ranking (score of 71/100). This places APAR among the top 17% of companies assessed globally, reflecting the company’s continued progress in strengthening its ESG management systems and sustainability practices.
The achievement also marks a significant improvement from APAR’s 73rd percentile ranking in the previous assessment, demonstrating the company’s sustained efforts to enhance environmental stewardship, responsible operations, and ethical business practices.
This recognition reinforces APAR’s commitment to creating long-term value through responsible growth and contributing positively to environmental and social outcomes across its operations and value chain.

APAR has been awarded a ‘B’ score in Climate Change in its full-version disclosure by CDP, the global non-profit that operates the world’s leading environmental disclosure platform. In addition, APAR has achieved an ‘A’ score in CDP’s Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA), reflecting our strong integration of climate considerations across our supply chain and proactive engagement with suppliers on emissions reduction and sustainability practices.
APAR’s disclosures now form part of the world’s most comprehensive repository of self-reported environmental data, reinforcing our commitment to transparency, responsible climate action, and value-chain decarbonization.
The Climate Change submission included detailed information on climate-related risks and opportunities, energy-efficiency initiatives, GHG-emission reduction efforts, and Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions. Across 16 evaluated parameters, APAR achieved ‘A’ in 10, ‘A-’ in 1, ‘B’ in 2, and ‘B-’ in 3 categories — reflecting strong performance and continued improvement in our climate disclosure maturity.
The ‘A’ rating in Supplier Engagement further demonstrates our leadership in driving collaborative climate action beyond our own operations.
Sep 2025: We are proud to announce that all our plants and offices have recently been certified with ISO 27001 – the globally recognized standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
This achievement demonstrates our unwavering commitment to safeguarding information, ensuring data integrity, and protecting the interests of our stakeholders. By adopting global best practices in information security, we have reinforced the ‘G’ pillar of our ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) journey.

Jul 2025: Marking a significant milestone in our sustainability journey, we have released our first Integrated Report, replacing the earlier ESG Report format. This report offers a holistic view of our financial and non-financial performance, aligning with global best practices and demonstrating our commitment to long-term value creation for all stakeholders. It reflects our progress across environmental, social, and governance dimensions, while also integrating strategic, operational, and financial insights. Jul 2025: As part of our ongoing commitment to responsible and transparent business practices, we have prepared and published our Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) for the period FY 2024-25. It highlights our performance across key Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) parameters and reflects the progress we have made since formally embarking on our sustainability journey four years ago. APAR is proud to announce the publication of its revised Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) report, demonstrating its commitment to transparency in climate-related financial risks and opportunities. This report outlines our strategic approach to addressing climate change, aligning with global best practices, and enhancing stakeholder trust.
The TCFD framework provides a structured approach to assess and disclose climate-related risks and opportunities, and APAR is committed to integrating these principles into our operations and reporting practices.

APAR has installed 5.34 MWp of roof-top solar capacity and another 1.2 MWp capacity is under implementation. In addition, we have commissioned a wind-solar hybrid (3.30 MW wind-turbine and 2.80 MWp of solar energy) project in partnership with a leading supplier, which is providing approx. 13.5 million KWh of renewable energy annually. We will be commissioning another two similar capacity wind-solar hybrid projects by June 2025. We expect our share of renewable energy to go up to 25% for the year 2025-26. This will enable a saving of approx. 34,000 tCO2e per annum at current grid emission factor.
We had engaged with the leading institutes and completed the energy audits at three plants (Conductor plants in Athola & Rakholi, and Cable plant in Khatalwada). A total of 72 GHG reduction projects have been identified as a result of these detailed energy audits, with a potential to save approximately 8,500 tCO₂e GHG emissions per year. Due to various measures taken by APAR, the absolute GHG emission in FY 21-22 reduced by 3%, despite overall increase in production.
We have been working consistently towards lowering our carbon footprint through various initiatives. We follow the GHG Protocol for measuring our GHG emission. Currently, we are measuring, managing and disclosing our scope 1 and scope 2 emissions.

As a responsible corporate, we are aware of the risks that climate change presents to our business, society and the planet, and the necessity to reduce Green House Gas (GHG) emissions across our value chains for a greener future.
As we proactively implement mitigation measures to address our emissions, we recognize that the bulk of our emissions stem from our value chains. Thus, to achieve this ambitious target of limiting global temperature rise to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels, we engage our stakeholders including our suppliers to manage and reduce GHG emissions beyond our factory.
