ELASTOMER & E BEAM CABLES
The APAR difference
- APAR is famous for pioneering work in the elastomer cable segment in India. Since 1981, we have manufactured a wide range of elastomer cables that cater to various industry segments like railways, ship building, steel, defence and mining.
- We have an in-house R&D facility and compounding plant that processes various types of compounds like EPDM, Silicone, CSP, PCP and EVA.
- We have set up four electron beam facilities (one 3.0 MeV, two 2.5 MeV and one 3 MeV). This ensures our manufacturing facilities have the most modern equipment. We are one of the largest manufacturers of solar cables in India.
- We manufacture cables to various Indian and international standards like IS, IEC, VDE as well as Naval Defence specifications. We also customise products as per specific customer requirements.

Welding cables
Welding cables are typically used because they are flexible and versatile. Benefits that stem from the construction of finer strands of copper and EPDM or neoprene rubber jackets. In fact, these are generally more flexible than electrical wires or power cables.
Application | Often used in demanding applications, welding cables are secondary voltage-resistance cables for welding tools or as power cables attached to generators and industrial machinery. For example, electric arc-welding tools typically rely on two separate cables for operation: one acts as the primary power source for the device while the other supplies a secondary power source. While welding cables may not power the generator, these are required for electrodes. Welding cables are ideal for usage in power supply applications where the voltage does not exceed 600 volts. |
