We work around the clock
to solve real business problems
Working towards carbon neutrality is more than a promise.
It’s a way of life. At APAR, we’re not just tackling climate change with company-wide action, but also setting a new standard with products that address sustainability concerns. Explore how our divisions are addressing sustainability.
Jul 2025: As part of our ongoing commitment to responsible and transparent business practices, we have prepared and published our Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) for the period FY 2024-25. It highlights our performance across key Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) parameters and reflects the progress we have made since formally embarking on our sustainability journey four years ago. The report is now available for public access on our website, reinforcing our alignment with regulatory expectations and our stakeholders’ growing interest in sustainable business conduct. The report is available for download on our website at www.apar.com under the Sustainability Section.
Mar 2025: APAR has been making sustainability related disclosures on global platforms including EcoVadis since last 3 years.
EcoVadis is an evidence based online platform, providing supplier sustainability ratings and allowing companies to assess the ESG performance of their global suppliers. EcoVadis evaluates companies across a broader spectrum of ESG criteria, including labour practices, ethics, and supply chain sustainability, offering a comprehensive view of corporate responsibility.
We received a bronze medal from EcoVadis with 73 percentile score in Jan 2025. EcoVadis awards Bronze medal status to top 35% companies globally which are assessed
This recognition highlights APAR’s ongoing efforts towards sustainable business practices and the company’s efforts to foster positive environmental and social changes.
Mar 2025: APAR is pleased to announce that CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) had awarded a score of ‘B’ for the third consecutive year in a row to APAR.
This score indicates the APAR has taken “coordinated actions on Climate issues”. CDP is a global non-profit organization that runs the world’s leading environmental disclosure platform.
This important milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to environmental transparency and sustainability.
APAR’s data will be added to the most comprehensive inventory of self-reported environmental data in the world – helping to drive action through greater transparency. By disclosing through CDP, APAR is prepared to respond to the increasing demand for environmental transparency from financial institutions, customers and policymakers. In its disclosure, APAR shared information on climate related risks and opportunities, energy saving and GHG emission reduction initiatives and Scope-1, Scope-2 and Scope-3 emissions.
By sharing this information publicly, we aim to engage with stakeholders, foster accountability, and contribute to the global conversation on climate action.

Oct 2024.
APAR is proud to announce the publication of its revised Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) report, demonstrating its commitment to transparency in climate-related financial risks and opportunities. This report outlines our strategic approach to addressing climate change, aligning with global best practices, and enhancing stakeholder trust.
The TCFD framework provides a structured approach to assess and disclose climate-related risks and opportunities, and APAR is committed to integrating these principles into our operations and reporting practices.
Our report includes:
- Governance: Details on our governance structure for managing climate-related risks and opportunities.
- Strategy: Insights into how climate change could impact our business strategy and financial planning.
- Risk Management: An overview of our processes for identifying, assessing, and managing climate-related risks.
- Metrics and Targets: Key metrics we use to evaluate climate-related risks and our targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
“Publishing our TCFD report is a significant milestone for APAR,” mentioned by Suyash Saraogi, President Strategy & Projects. “It reflects our proactive approach to sustainability and our dedication to addressing the challenges posed by climate change. We believe that transparency in our climate-related practices not only supports our stakeholders but also strengthens our resilience as an organization.”
The report is available for download on our website at www.apar.com under the Sustainability Section.
APAR has installed 5.34 MWp of roof-top solar capacity and another 1.2 MWp capacity is under implementation. In addition, we have commissioned a wind-solar hybrid (3.30 MW wind-turbine and 2.80 MWp of solar energy) project in partnership with a leading supplier, which is providing approx. 13.5 million KWh of renewable energy annually. We will be commissioning another two similar capacity wind-solar hybrid projects by June 2025. We expect our share of renewable energy to go up to 25% for the year 2025-26. This will enable a saving of approx. 34,000 tCO2e per annum at current grid emission factor.
90,490 tCO2e GHG emission during FY 2021-22
We have been working consistently towards lowering our carbon footprint through various initiatives. We follow the GHG Protocol for measuring our GHG emission. Currently we are measuring, managing and disclosing our scope 1 and scope 2 emissions.
As a responsible corporate, we are aware of the risks that climate change presents to our business, society and the planet, and the necessity to reduce Green House Gas (GHG) emissions across our value chains for a greener future.
As we proactively implement mitigation measures to address our emissions, we recognize that the bulk of our emissions stem from our value chains. Thus, to achieve this ambitious target of limiting global temperature rise to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels, we engage our stakeholders including our suppliers to manage and reduce GHG emissions beyond our factory.
