Manager - Procurement, Purchase, Logistics & Materials (Aluminium & Copper Scrap)
Job Description
This role manages monthly purchase planning and procurement of aluminium and copper scrap to support production requirements.
- Plan scrap requirements against raw material inflows to maintain optimum inventory and avoid stock-outs.
- Execute scrap contract management and ensure adherence to commercial terms, conditions, and pricing structures.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard domestic and international scrap vendors.
- Follow up with domestic and import vendors for timely dispatches and delivery schedules.
- Develop OEM vendors for direct scrap sourcing and prepare OEM vendor development reports.
- Coordinate with Finance for vendor payments, letters of credit, credit notes, and debit notes.
- Resolve product quality issues and lead claim settlements for shortages, weight differences, or supply rejections.
- Maintain the aluminium and copper scrap master file and prepare monthly MIS reports.
