APAR ranks in global top 17% on EcoVadis blog banner

ESG – Environmental, Social, and Governance frameworks have become critical for assessing corporate impact, managing risks, and unlocking sustainable competitive advantage. Investors now allocate over $40 trillion* globally to ESG-focused funds, while regulators demand transparent disclosures. At APAR, we're proud of our latest milestone: earning the EcoVadis Bronze Medal and a spot in the top 17% of assessed companies globally (83rd percentile, score 71/100). This March 2026 achievement marks a significant step up from our prior 73rd percentile ranking and showcases our evolving Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) strategy.

Why EcoVadis Matters: And What It Means for Us

EcoVadis is more than a rating; it's a rigorous, evidence-based platform assessing over 120,000 companies on key pillars like environmental impact, labour & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. For APAR, this validation reflects our supply chain transparency and responsible practices, from energy-efficient manufacturing to fair labour policies.

This performance jump reflects deliberate investment in:

  • Environmental stewardship: Reducing carbon footprints through optimised processes and renewable energy pilots.
  • Social responsibility: Enhancing employee well-being and community programs.
  • Ethical governance: Strengthening compliance and other measures.

Mr. Suyash Saraogi, President, Strategy and Projects, APAR stated, "This EcoVadis recognition reinforces APAR's commitment to long-term value through responsible growth, delivering positive environmental and social impact across our operations and value chain."

2025-26 Sustainability Achievements: Building ESG Momentum

  • CareEdge ESG Leadership: Earned ‘CareEdge-ESG 1’ rating, placing APAR in the top leadership tier for ESG risk management, disclosures, policies, and performance.
  • Climate Targets Set: Defined short- and long-term goals aligned with Paris Agreement’s 1.5°C pathway, driving emissions reductions and low-carbon transition across operations and value chain.
