Disclosure of Updates to Ongoing Tax Litigations or Disputes The updates on tax litigations or disputes in terms of sub-para 8 of para B of Part A of Schedule III read with corresponding provisions of Annexure 18 of the Master Circular are given below: Text Block

Textual Information(1)1) A show cause notice of an amount of Rs. 1,13,48,18,971 (in addition, interest and penalty that may be imposed) was issued on October 4, 2019. It was issued without allegation of suppression for conytravention of pre-import condition on imports made during 13.10.2017 to 09.01.2019 under Advance Authorisation claiming exemption from payment of IGST. IGST amount of Rs. 86.34 Crores were already paid and taken ITC as per S.C. Ruling and balance is not payable and no interest and penalty can be imposed in the absence of any machinery. But the matter is pending with the Commissioner of Customs, NCH, Mumbai. 2)A show cause notice of an amount of Rs. 23,19,34,456 (in addition, interest and penalty that may be imposed) was issued on December 27, 2024 for mis-classification of imported "Carbon Fibre Composite Core". Reply was laready filed, but the adjudication is pending with the Commissioner of Customs, JNCH. 3) Further please note that Pursuant to Industry Standard Notes on Regulation 30 of the LODR regulation issued by SEBI in consultation with ASSOCHAM and FICCI on February 25, 2025, we have commenced to disclosed details of pensing show cause notice as per requirement of Sub para 8 of Para B of Part A of Schedule III to LODR. Hence details of predence quarters were not given. 4) The Company has filed a suitable reply to show cause notices and is awaiting for further reply from concerned authorities.
